كلمات جاء العيد

‏ جاء العيد، هذا العيد السعيد
The ʿĪd has come,
This delightful ʿĪd has come
‏‎
‎قولوا معي في كلِّ آنْ
بالعيدِ كَمْ طابَ الزمانْ

Say with me, at all times
With ʿĪd, times have become pleasant

واللّهَ فَلْنَحمَدْ معًا ربّي المنزَّهَ عن مكانْ
Let’s praise Allāh together - My Lord, Who exists without a place

قد جاءنا العيد السعيدْ
عيدٌ مباركٌ جديدْ

The delightful Eid has come
A new, blessed ʿĪd!
‎فمرحبًا بنورِهِ
فإنه عيدٌ مجيدْ

We welcome its lights!
Certainly, it’s a glorious ʿĪd

‎نزورُ فيه الأقرباءْ
فالسعدُ في هذا اللقاءْ

On it, we visit relatives
How joyful this gathering is

‎نُعينُ أصحابَ البلاءْ
وبالأُجورِ نستفيدْ

We aid those with hardships
And reap beneficial rewards

‎أطفالُنا كَمْ يفرحونْ
بيوتَهُمْ يُزَيِّنُون

How happy our children will be!
They decorate their houses

‎ثوبًا جديدًا يلبَسُونْ
والأُنسُ في الدنيا يزيدْ

New clothes, they shall wear
And prosperity, across the globe, will increase

فالحمدُ للهِ الجليلْ
على العطاءِ والجميلْ

So, praise be to Allāh, the Exalted
For the beautiful bestowments

واللهُ ما له مثيلْ
ودائمٌ فلا يَبيدْ
Allāh Has no similar
He is Everlasting, He shall not perish

‎بالمصطفى توسّلوا
فَهْوَ النبيُّ الأفضل

Perform tawassul by al-Muṣṭafā
He is best of all Prophets

‎عَنْ ذكرهِ لا تَغْفُلُوا
بمدحِهِ يحلو النشيد

Do not neglect remembering him
By praising him, chants become more beautiful

العيدُ عيدُ المؤمنينْ

This is the believers’ ʿĪd

يصفو به القلبُ الحزينْ
‎حمدًا لربِّ العالمينْ
‎فإنه ربٌّ حميدْ

On it, the saddened heart becomes untroubled
Praise be to the the Lord of the worlds
Certainly, He is a praiseworthy Lord
